This sunrise in Kauai was spectacular! It's become a special memory that I've been able to share with my sister. My goal as an artist is to capture a dynamic, living moment and express it with paint and canvas. I wasn't feeling well when I painted this one. It took a bit of time, persistence, and even painting with my opposite hand. I pushed through and I'm pleased that I did. I painted the last stroke on it yesterday, smiled and said, "It is finished."
I've named my 36"x36" acrylic painting, "Into the Deep Blue."
I paint commissions and sell my work through my website or in my studio by appointment only.
