Aspens in the fall are a site to behold.  This painting was inspired by a trip to Colorado with my wonderful sister.  Aspen trees are amongst the oldest living organisms on the planet and they can grow a new tree from their root ball.  I love the symbolism they carry and the beauty they hold for those walk amongst them.

This painting, "Autumn Green", is an original acrylic on canvas and measures 11"x14".  It has texture in the trees and foliage and has a lovely warm glow when the lights are dimmed.

This abandoned boat on the beach, "Rhapsodic Blues", was inspired by a vacation I took on a tiny island in the Florida Keys, where I came across this enticing scene.  This 14"x11" acrylic palette knife painting is rendered in the impressionistic style of Vincent Van Gogh, one of my favorite artists.
